Mike Henderson — 18 Years of Denver Plumbing Expertise
Mike Henderson has been a licensed plumber in Colorado for 18 years, earning his Colorado Master Plumber License (#MP-2847) after years of hands-on apprenticeship and continuing education. He founded Apex Plumbing in 2008 with one goal: give Denver homeowners a plumber they can actually trust.
"I grew up in Denver. I went to school here, I raised my kids here. When I fix a pipe in Highlands or clear a drain in Capitol Hill, I'm working on my neighbors' homes. That means something to me," Mike says.
Under Mike's leadership, Apex Plumbing has grown from a one-man operation to a team of six licensed technicians — while maintaining the personal service and honest pricing that built their reputation. Every job Mike takes on, he treats like it's his own home.
Mike holds certifications in water heater installation, backflow prevention, and gas line work. He is a member of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC) and completes 20+ hours of continuing education annually to stay current with Colorado plumbing codes.
Our Story
From One Truck to Denver's Trusted Plumbing Team
Apex Plumbing opened in 2008 with Mike Henderson, a used truck, and a commitment to honest work at fair prices. Denver's housing boom created demand, but Mike saw a different problem: homeowners couldn't find a plumber who showed up on time, explained the work clearly, and charged what they quoted.
That gap became Apex Plumbing's mission. Over the next 15 years, we built a reputation one job at a time — clearing drains in Park Hill, replacing water heaters in Cherry Creek, handling emergencies in LoDo at 2 AM. Word spread. Reviews accumulated. The team grew.
Today, Apex Plumbing employs six licensed technicians and serves hundreds of Denver customers every year. We're proud of our 4.9-star rating across 500+ reviews. But what we're most proud of is simpler: when a Denver homeowner has a plumbing problem, they call us first.
